effective e-mail campaigns - This page contains
information on how to build an effective e-mail marketing
campaign. Mail,
e-mail, information etc. is vital for commerce and
communication. Your clients do want mail from you to serve
their purpose. Constructing a marketing campaign, that will
communicate to your clients, ideas and products that they
are interested in will bring the most success. Overuse and
bombardment of junk mail and e-mail will turn off a customer
and most times is illegal. Be constructive, creative and
thoughtful with all e-mail marketing.
Definitions
and formats
E-mail
defined- Electronically sent and received mail
messages. Our software has tools to broadcast and send
graphic e-mail.
"Opted
in" e-mail list defined -
Opted in is when clients ask to have their
e mail address listed with your company for solicitation
purposes. They have given you, their "permission"
to be included on your e mailing list. The recipient has
given affirmative consent to receive the message, either in
response to a clear and conspicuous request for such consent
or at the recipient's own initiative. These opted in
clients, are the customers that EZ-Zone can assist you in
marketing to.
"Spam" defined
- Unsolicited Email from promoters/organizations who
obtained your address from means other than you giving them
permission to use it. Sending mail to people who have not
given permission is called "spam". Spam is very
offensive to many people. There are rules regarding spam
that are strictly enforced. They can report your activity to
the web servers and have your site taken down. Spam can be a
criminal offence. Our programs are not to be used for spam.
New laws have been enacted that make spammers receive fines
and or jail time.
Unsubscribe defined -
When sending e-mail to one of your clients, there make come
a time when they no longer wish to receive any mail from
you. EZ-Zone products have a tool to remove them from either
mail / e-mail or both lists. They will no longer be included
with any outgoing bulk mailing. Adding the following link
(unsubscribe code) to your message gives the ability to the
recipient to "Unsubscribe".

You are
solely responsible for the e mail messages you send. In
many instances sending unsolicited email "Spam" is
in violation of the law, and you will be solely accountable
and liable for damages and violations. Our e mail products
are not to be used to send unsolicited email, distribute
illegal information, or to send information that would be
deemed false or misleading. It is important to unsubscribe
people at their request. Our software has a simple button to
click to be able to unsubscribe a client, select the
"send no e mail" and or "send no mail"
button and they will be unlisted from bulk mailing lists.
INTERNET
E-MAIL SENDING RULES

Harassment,
whether through language, frequency or size of messages,
is prohibited.

Users
may not send e-mail to any person or entity that does
not wish to receive it. If a recipient asks to stop
receiving E-mail, the user must stop sending that person
or entity any more e-mail. An unsubscribe method is to
be included with all e-mail messages.

Advertisements
are to be clearly labeled, for instance, the following
line is to be included in your text. "This is an
advertisement."

Users
are EXPLICITLY PROHIBITED from sending unsolicited
"bulk" messages "junk mail" or
"spam"). This includes bulk-mailing of
commercial advertising, informational and political
announcements. Such material may only be sent to those
who have explicitly requested it.

Users
may not forward or otherwise propagate chain letters. Users
may not forward personal information or e-mail addresses
to third parties without the consent of the person.

Malicious
e-mail, including "mail bombing", is
prohibited.

Falsification
of user information provided to COMPANY, its agents, or
to other users of the service, in connection with use of
a COMPANY service is prohibited.

Users
may not send unsolicited e-mailings, if such unsolicited
e-mailings could reasonably be expected to provoke
complaints.

To
engage in any of the foregoing activities using the
service of another provider, but channeling such
activities through a COMPANY account, a.k.a. re-mailing,
or otherwise through a COMPANY service or using a
COMPANY account as a mail-drop for responses or
otherwise using the services of another provider for the
purpose of facilitating the foregoing activities if such
use of another party's service could reasonably be
expected to adversely affect a COMPANY service.
